Japanese Chopstick Ettiquette

-Sticking your chopsticks upright in your food is seen as a lack of respect, as it is traditionally done at funerals
-Instead of passing food directly to another person's chopsticks, put the food down on a plate or bowl so the other person can pick it up.
-Leave your chopsticks down neatly side by side instead of leaving them crossed.
-Pointing with a chopstick or waving them around indecisively over the dishes is considered impolite.
