Proper Knife Holding 101
Chef Kate Van Rensselaer of Cafe Diva in Steamboat Springs shared her #1 knife wielding tip with us:
"Hold your knife like you mean it! Hold with a firm grib, and instead of holding the knife by the handle, grib the top of the blade so that your thumb and forefinger rest on either side of it. It may feel a little intimidating, but this handhold provides far more control and balance."
